Kids Parks in Santa Cruz: Brommer Park

30th and Brommer Street, Santa Cruz I brought my daughter here so I could take some up-to-date pictures. Nice play structures...very new. Tots' play structure has little built-in table and benches. Big Kids' structure felt very safe, but still very fun. We stayed for about an hour, from 12-1, and no kids showed up, but my girl still had fun. Note: Despite signs to the contrary, Dogs run free here...lots of them.

Small park but easy to keep track of kids and usually not very busy. Feels safe

We just visited this park today. This is a nice park with two nice playstructures and swings. (the picture shown here must have been taken before a major park rennovation, because the structures now are much nicer). The structures are fun for kids (though the big one requires you to watch your kids closely if they are 3 and under.)

The park doesn't look like the pictures. It is a nice playstructure but only a couple swings....the source of many fights. It is a good park for mom's with more than one kid because it is small. Dad's can play basketball while still watching the little ones. clean and safe to boot.
